Dr. Earl Huff, Jr. is an Assistant Professor at the UT Austin School of Information and Co-Director of the REALITY Lab. He earned his Ph.D. in Human-Centered Computing at Clemson University and his M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science at Rowan University.
Earl's research is at the intersection of human-centered computing, accessibility, AI, and education. His current focus is identifying ways to improve equity and accessibility in formal and informal learning spaces and increasing agency for using, awareness of, and ethical use of AI for vulnerable, underserved populations. Huff has published in venues in computing education, human factors, HCI, user-centered design, and accessible computing.
